Adesua is a collared shirt with horizontal smocked stitching from the underbust to waistline, inverted pleats at the back, and petal-style sleeves. It is crafted from a medium-weight cotton with dyed cotton for the inverted pleats and sleeves. Its fastener is made custom coconut button. The brand's name, Aga, originates from the Yorùbá culture, meaning a functional object or furniture piece. Established in 2017 by founder Moyo Ogunseinde, who was born in the Ibadan, the brand is heavily influenced by the environment she grew up in - bustling marketplaces, red sands, brown roofs, and vibrant cultural celebrations.
